About Whitemoor Camping
Whitemoor Camping offers a no-fuss base for exploring North Devon, set in quiet countryside just outside Bishop's Tawton. Pitches come with electric hook-up, and the site welcomes both dogs and campfires — a combination that appeals to those after a relaxed, outdoorsy feel. Facilities cover the essentials: showers, toilets and drinking water, though there's no chemical disposal point or WiFi.
It's the kind of place that works well for families or anyone wanting straightforward access to the coast and moor without unnecessary frills. The setting feels peaceful, and while it won't win awards for flashy amenities, that stripped-back approach is exactly what some campers are after when they want Devon's landscapes to do the talking.

A true hidden gem!! Such a special place. We had our wedding here in June and it was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for more. Jamie and Suzy were incredible and we knew we were in safe hands, they worked so hard to make our day everything we wanted both in the run up and on the day itself. The barn is beautiful and we loved the freedom to decorate it however we wanted, the grounds are also stunning and made for great photos. The option for guests to camp over was brilliant, we stayed in the onsite yurt and that was perfect too. If you’re thinking of booking your wedding here just do it, you will not be disappointed! Thank you again Jamie and Suzy, we couldn’t be happier with how our wedding turned out.

Great campsite and really lovely and accommodating owners. Firepits are great and cheap logs available onsite. Good facilities. We hired the whole site out as a group with a combo of vans and tent camping which worked out perfectly. Lovely views from the van park-up!

We had a small intimate wedding here in September and it was perfect! The venue was dressed beautifully and there was lots of help from the owners on arranging the flowers and cake ect. Food was brilliant and owners were very attentive we cannot recommend enough!

Quite expensive and not easy to find along a VERY narrow road. Late check in (3 pm), and the owner wanted an additional £18 for us to arrive 2 hours earlier. Very small and cramped electric pitches and far too close to other guests tents. We couldn't have our car or trailer on our pitch and couldn't even set up our tent porch. Toilets & showers are clean but rudimentary and quite far from pitches. The owners dogs are running free around the site and one of them left an unpleasant deposit at the side of our tent. Very muddy on walk to showers & toilets.
