West Brae

West Brae is a ground-floor bungalow with two king-size bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping four people. Everything you need for self-catering is provided: electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine, plus a breakfast bar for casual meals. A separate utility room contains a fridge-freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, so laundry is straightforward. The open-plan living space centres on a Freeview Smart TV with dining area, and large windows frame views across the Taw valley. One dog can stay free of charge.

A lawned garden wraps around the property with a patio and barbecue for outdoor eating. The entrance involves 16 steps down from the gate, and garden steps are steep and uneven. A pub lies within a mile. The bungalow sits near Bishops Tawton in North Devon, close enough to Barnstaple for shops and services, with Instow's beach and Appledore's harbour village within easy reach. Travel cots and highchairs are available. No smoking inside.
