About Tŷ Cerrig Certificated Location
Tucked into a fold of the Eryri mountains, this tiny Caravan and Motorhome Club CL occupies a spectacularly scenic corner of a third-generation sheep farm, with riverside pitches looking out over forest and peak. The facilities – housed in a converted stone barn – are spotless, and electric hook-ups, drinking water and wifi come as standard. A track runs alongside the Afon Tŷ Cerrig, making dog walks a pleasure, and the site's position just off the A494 puts you equidistant between Bala and Dolgellau, both around fifteen minutes away.
With a 4.8 Google rating, it's clearly a hit with members, though the gravel and uneven terrain won't suit everyone. Still, if you're after peace, renewable energy credentials and direct access to some of North Wales' finest walking and cycling, this is a gem of a bolt-hole.

What visitors say
LOVED LOVED LOVED this site. Such a lovely place and friendly vibe with super friendly family running the place. The site is beautifully located, which to be fair, is not hard given that this is mid-Wales. But for me it's the customer-service that made the place such a great place to be. My 14yo lad was even invited to give the baby lambs milk from the bottle. On top of the super can-do approach from Annest and Rhys, who really are super helpful, is that there is loads to do in the area (especially if you're a walker, runner, climber or cyclist). We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful spot, in a valley, lovely stream running through, and run by two very lovely people. Wi-Fi is really solid (I work from my van and have had zero issue), facilities are spotless, and it's a great tucked away place. Obviously your room is your own, as this is not a hotel.
