We had the most wonderful stay at Surrey Yurts Camping Grounds—this family-run gem truly goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. My partner, my daughter, and I stayed recently, and from the moment we arrived, we were looked after with such genuine warmth and care. Franky is an absolute star—her people skills are honestly next level, and she made us feel right at home. Her mum, Joanna, is just as lovely, creating such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout our stay. What really stood out is how accommodating and thoughtful they are. Even as someone who wouldn’t usually call themselves a “camper,” I still had an amazing experience. The yurts are cozy, comfortable, and beautifully set up, and the grounds themselves are peaceful and stunning. The customer service here isn’t just good—it’s genuinely caring, and that makes all the difference. You can really feel the heart behind this place. A well-deserved five stars from us—we’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at Surrey Hills Yurts this weekend. Joanna and family were all super hospitable and the yurt was decorated lovingly. The set-up for cooking, washing and utensils was beautiful, nestled under a billowing awning. The washing facilities were clean and nicely decorated. Thank you!

A really special place , perfect yurts and beautiful surroundings . We are returning costumers, family of 5 and we can’t imagine not having at least one stay in Surrey hills per year .We camp/glamp a lot and Surrey hills is our favourite ! Jo and Davis are great host , always made us feel well looked after , although you don’t really need any assistance, Yurts and kitchen are well stoked up with every possible item you may need . Kitchen is acutely the most pleasant one we ever cooked in while camping, with birds songs and roaming wildlife nearby . Make sure to try their delicious breakfast hamper , fresh eggs from theirs chickens and sausages and bacon made on their side too. We love Surrey hills for a perfect location , peaceful but well situated for great local walks and close to pubs ( 20 min walk by forest / meadows ) Yurts are well spaced out for privacy with plenty of space for kids to run around and play games . Farm animals are a great bonus too .

We are a family of 4 with 9 & 16 year old and stayed in Hazel yurt over the weekend. We could not have been more happier than this holiday after all these Covid restrictions. The yurts are located in a spectacular location in Surrey Hills. They are so clean and well-equipped. The kitchen is well equipped so you don't need to get any crockery or cutlery or pots & pans. There is enough sugar, tea and coffee and the kitchen is located in between the bushes which is a big plus point. There are books for kids to read and a board game too. A perfect place to make new friends and cook. There are common compost toilets so no water but are very clean. There are two shower rooms which are amazingly clean too. Kids enjoy the farm animals and farm dogs are so friendly. My daughter enjoyed playing with the dog. Camp fire was like cherry on the cake, we enjoyed cooking and chatting around the fire. Jo and David are wonderful hosts. They are so friendly and helpful and available all the time. It is good for a family bonding as there is no electricity, so family games and trekking is the only option. We are definitely going again!
