A stunning location and amazing to have access to some of the grounds after hrs. The service from the onsite team was exceptional with a genuine ‘nothing was too much trouble’ approach. It felt like luxury camping with flushing loos, hot showers, pizza on site and a bar!

A really friendly campsite with excellent facilities and loads of space for the kids to play in. They had football goals, a volleyball net and a table tennis set up. They even got the sprinkler out for the kids to play in, as a it was a hot weekend. The kids had water fights as well which everyone tolerated very well! The pizza was lovely and the shop was very handy - especially for the draught beer! I only wish they stocked milk, as I couldn’t see that when I visited. Toilets and showers were lovely. The only downside was on the Friday night there was a very noisy rowdy group disturbing everyone until about 1am. The campsite managers don’t or can’t enforce quiet hours. And not really anything that the campsite can control, but beware that a flock of baa’ing sheep might wake you up at 4.30am as they live in the fields next to the campsite. It was very amusing, until our 8 year old was totally awake for the day at 5.30am after being woken up by them 😂😭. That’s camping life!

We spent the weekend at Embers and we had a fantastic time. The children enjoyed playing football, volleyball and table tennis. Our hosts were very friendly and always on hand to answer any questions. Embers also has a pizza oven with around 5 different options (including Vegan) and the pizza was delicious. A great location inside the national trust park, the atmosphere was excellent ahd the children enjoyed playing games all around the field. Will be visiting again, thank you for hosting us!

A fantastic site next to a stunning National Trust house and gardens that you have access to as part of your pitch / stay. The staff onsite are very helpful and made my life easier on a number of occasions. Shower and toilet facilities are good. The camping field is quiet after dark. I'd 100% recommend it.
