What visitors say
This place is great to camp on. Two large fields with plenty of places to park and pitch. They are very relaxed with check in and out times, so there's no rushing around. The farm shop sells great local produce as well as little pieces which are handy for camping. The facilities here are well kept and cleaned often.

Friendly campsite in a beautiful location at the foot of Leith Hill. Facilities clean with hot showers - a rarity. Great little shop selling farm produce and friendly helpful staff. I'll be back, as they say.

A Wonderful Stay at Etherley Farm with Stunning Leith Hill Tours & Walks I can’t recommend Etherley Farm campsite highly enough – it’s a true countryside gem. The site itself is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by rolling Surrey Hills scenery. Facilities are clean and well-kept, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. It’s the perfect place to unwind, switch off, and enjoy nature at its best. What makes the experience even more special is its proximity to Leith Hill, the highest point in Surrey. The walks around here are absolutely breathtaking – ancient woodlands, open meadows, and views that stretch for miles. The tours and guided walks are fascinating, full of local history, wildlife spotting, and hidden corners you’d never discover on your own. Whether you’re a keen hiker, a family looking for a gentle ramble, or simply someone who loves being outdoors, this area has something for everyone. Coming back to the campsite after a long walk and enjoying the farm’s fresh produce was a real highlight too! All in all, Etherley Farm, combined with Leith Hill tours and nature walks, offers a truly memorable countryside escape – tranquil, enriching, and full of natural beauty. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Surrey Hills experience.

Etherley Farm camping is a great little site. It was busy enough for there to be a buzzy communal atmosphere but not at all oversold so you feel cramped. There was still loads of space for kids to play and families to spread out. The staff are friendly and relaxed about leaving times, which helps if you'd rather not rush to pack down. Showers and toilets are plentiful and clean. You can have a campfire on bare patches of ground (almost unheard of nowadays). The shop is excellent; well stocked with all kinds of goodies (including tasty local cider) for use while camping or to take home. Lovely hikes nearby and the Parrot Inn within walking distance. We stayed in July.
