About Strathview Lodge
Dornoch, in the Highlands, is a small coastal town within reach of Dunrobin Castle and the town of Golspie, and it's here that Strathview Lodge offers a quiet base for exploring the area. This is a compact B&B with just three rooms, so guests get a personal, low-key stay rather than a large hotel experience.
Each stay includes breakfast, and rooms come with drinks provided. Free WiFi is available throughout, and reception operates around the clock, so arrival times are flexible. A laundry service is also on hand for longer stays. Free on-site parking makes it straightforward to come and go by car.

This is a great find! We were warmly welcomed by Gavin into our room which was lovely. There’s a decked seating area outside our room where you can sit and look at the lovely view. It was perfect room - comfy bed and pillows, quality linen and everywhere spotlessly clean. For dinner we drove the short distance into Dornoch. Gavin had recommended restaurant ‘Luigi’ but was booked out so recommend you book in advance as apparently it’s very good. We had fish and chips next door at The Surf and Turf. We slept really well as it was so quiet and woke to a really generous and delicious breakfast with lots of choice. We met Monica who was very friendly and gave us some good advice on things to see and do. Thoroughly recommend this B&B. Good value, lovely people and can’t fault a thing!

What a stunning little find. A lovely couple run this place. The lady is incredibly welcoming and has lots of time to chat, if you fancy. The breakfast was great and lovingly cooked by the gent who serves it with great charm. This was the best hotel of our 8 day trip and in all honesty I don't think we expected this to be the case - thanks so much!

This was a last minute booking for work in the area, what a fabulous find. Stunning views across Loch Fleet from my room of the same name, deafiningly quiet, very comfortable bed, good shower, clean, like properly clean! Full Scottish breakfast and the chewed the fat with Gavin the host. This is just off the A9 but you wouldn't know it. I will be back

What a gem of a place, amazing view from the room, whole place is spotlessly clean and tidy. Room was a good size and had all we needed, inc tea an coffee facilities, ensuite shower room. Plenty of parking right outside, a very short drive into Dornoch and a great base for travel further afield. Our hosts were very welcoming. Was a pleasure to have stayed with them
