Sluice Keeper’s Cottage

The Highland village setting here puts you within reach of Loch Fleet, with beach and countryside walks beginning at the gate. Golspie's shops, pubs and restaurants are three miles away, while the beaches near Royal Dornoch lie just over eight miles south. A river runs a hundred yards from the property, and there's a fenced railway line at the rear with daytime services.

Sluice Keeper's Cottage is a character property on one level, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has a king bed and ensuite shower; the second holds two single beds with a roll-top bath and separate shower. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking—electric oven, two-ring hob, Aga (heated November to March), air fryer, dishwasher—and overlooks the garden. A woodburner warms the living room, and French doors open from the dining room onto a patio. Outside, you have an enclosed garden with seating area and a private hot tub. Laundry facilities and bike storage are in the outhouse. Parking is provided for two cars. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial logs for the burner.

The cottage sleeps four and welcomes one pet at no extra charge. No smoking is permitted.
