Sabrina Boat

My mother and I took a trip on the Sabrina boat and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was all very well organised and the crew were really professional. The trip takes 45 minutes and we saw many historic buildings along the way. The captain gave a commentary on what we were seeing and it's history...some of which were quite funny. The captain spoke very clearly so we were able to hear what was being said....which is a lovely change from the usual mumblings I have often heard on similar historical trips. I enjoyed the entire experience and will be bringing more family and friends who do not live in Shrewsbury to enjoy some time on the Severn. Thank you to all the crew for helping to make new memories for my mother and I.

Amazing experience. A 45 minute trip down the river and back. Great guides and staff/servers. Some lovely photo opportunities. Would definetly recommend to anyone in the Shrewsbury area. The trip is great value and caters for your fury friend (dogs welcome aboard). The guide talked us through the views and bridges above the river and was very informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and managed to get some great photos.

Booked in advance over the phone and it was so straight forward. I did ask for a confirmation e-mail, and despite a small mix up at the boarding, they did give us complimentary drink to apologise; but I would have been happy to pay for these. It was an absolute lovely trip and we absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go again. Much better than i was expecting.

Ysgol Penygloddfa had a fantastic time on the Sabrina as part of our school trip. Here are some reviews from the children: A- When you go on the boat you will see lots of wildlife, like swans and ducks. The river was very beautiful, the skipper, Doug was very talented, he was driving and telling us facts, wow! It took 45 mins and it was so smooth. It went so quick because it was so fun! Make sure you sit on the top and it's dog friendly. M- The captain was very exuberant, it was a lovely sunny day. It was better on the top because you can see everything. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend! E - The Sabrina is magnificent, the boat is flat in the water. I give it 5 stars, I loved it! I'm going to go back 5 more times. the skipper is very entertaining because he is an excellent driver. I recommend the top deck. He will tell you facts about Shrewsbury and it's dog friendly. H - The skipper is very talented at driving. They welcomed us and the people were waving at us. It was very smooth, I really wanted to stay in it for longer! The views were beautiful. E - Such a calming, distracting place to be. The skipper was very entertaining and full of history. The boat was soft on the river, the staff were kind and caring. The view was great and it is worth the journey to come on the boat. it is a lovely 45 min long but time goes so quick. There are toilets on board and they are very clean, not many steps and the best views are at the top. K- For my first time on a boat it was very beautiful. It will be the best 45 minutes of your life. One of the best things are the views. C - A delightful boat trip, you can see swans and lots of baby ducklings. The boat is sparkling clean and I recommend going on the Sabrina, it is fantastic! H - It was magnificent, it goes so smooth on the water. The skipper was very entertaining and friendly, full of interesting facts. I will be going back!
