Came in for food today and was served by a lovely member of staff, Beau. She was very helpful with the menu and gave great recommendations of places to visit in Shrewsbury as me and my friends were only visiting the area. She made our whole experience amazing. Exceptionally attentive and genuine service she’s a credit to the business. Food was great too, will definitely be back.

Great location, BUT we stayed here for the food festival 27/06 and we are right in the middle of an extreme heat wave. The rooms are NOT kitted out for this. The rooms even with the fans that are supplied was 32oC. The windows don’t open very wide and with the rooms facing onto the street you can hear everything going on, drinkers/cars/people. Kind of wished I’d booked the premier inn -at least the rooms are air conditioned. I doubt I would want to stay here again

Went for lunch, didn't use the accommodation. Lunch was absolutely fantastic. I went for the 8oz and it was cooked to perfection, peppercorn sauce was so nice, staff extremely friendly. Lovely background music to suit rhe ambience of the venue.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience hosting a fundraising event at The Loopy Shrew. From start to finish, everything was seamless. The team went above and beyond to ensure the event ran smoothly, and their support, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm made a real difference throughout. The venue itself was perfect - welcoming, well-organised, and full of great energy, creating the ideal atmosphere for our guests. Thanks to The Loopy Shrew, we were able to deliver a truly memorable and successful event. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Loopy Shrew.
