About Gundrys Farm Campsite
Set near Three Legged Cross in Dorset, Gundrys Farm Campsite offers a straightforward base for exploring the county's heathlands and coast. The site welcomes families and dogs, with electric hook-ups, decent shower blocks and WiFi keeping things practical. It's well-positioned for day trips to Bournemouth's beaches or the New Forest's walking trails.
That said, with a modest Google rating, some visitors have found aspects a little tired or basic compared to more polished sites nearby. Still, if you're after an unpretentious pitch without frills – somewhere to sleep between adventures rather than a destination in itself – Gundrys delivers the essentials at a fair price.

What visitors say
We stopped here whilst passing as we are looking for a new seasonal pitch for our caravan. Generally, the site was nice. The toilets and showers are in need of an update, but they looked perfectly clean and serviceable. The grounds look well kept although facilities are basic. The only cost we can get is from a Google page from 2 years ago and that is more than the site is worth. As for touring, it looks fine and lots of people about, so probably reasonable.

Good bit....Lovely quite location. Great flat pitches. Lovely jolly welcome from sue & the dog. Great open spaces for the children to play & explore. A lovely walk to moors valley...Now the bad bits. For the size of the place there is not enough facilities, only 2 women's toilets in a wooden shed & only 4 showers. The showers were hot, but in abit of a mess, there were brambles growing through the gaps in the perspex roof . The drains were very slow. I had a shower after my husband & the water was running out of the shower, down the step & out the main door.

First impression, looked fantastic, nicely cut grass flat fiels for caravan, adequate toilets, showers very dated, plenty of hot water. For a bank holiday weekend it wasn't very busy, lovely quite site, walking distance to a good pub and Moors Vally Country park which has everything for a great day out.

Just dropped in on our way back up North , exactly what we needed. Quiet site , only 4 in the whole field. Reasonable pricing £35 for camper , ehu and 3 dogs. They have a separate enclosure to let dogs run around , perfect for us. Yes the toilets and shower probably need some old and upgrade but it’s camping in a field not a 5 star hotel.
