The Dorset Hideaway was a great find; ideally located for Lyme Regis and Eype beach. We had a wonderful 3 night stay on an electric grass pitch with our tent - 3 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs. Communication prior and after our stay from Ryan and his family was excellent, we were met promptly on arrival to show us to our pitch. Facilities were very clean and looked newly refurbished. There was a dog grooming parlour on site, complete with bath and drying facilities and also an enclosed area for the dogs to run around off their leads. My son enjoyed the tractor rides and was welcomed by other families to join them playing cricket and rounders. I’m thankful my husband was driving though as the entrance to the Dorset Hideaway was located down some single track lanes, so not for the faint hearted, lol! We would highly recommend this site to other families looking for some quality family time.

We booked a 2-night stay in the glamping pods to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and it was a lovely experience overall. The hosts went the extra mile by decorating the pod beautifully for the occasion, which made it feel very special and thoughtful. Although the weather wasn’t great during our stay, we still thoroughly enjoyed the cozy, peaceful atmosphere and quality time together. The pod itself was comfortable and well maintained, making it a perfect little retreat despite the poor weather. We would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. One small suggestion for improvement would be internet connectivity — there was no Wi-Fi available, and a solution like Starlink could really enhance the experience, especially for longer stays. Overall, a wonderful stay and a memorable birthday celebration.

If you enjoy peace, quiet, and nature, this is the perfect place for you! Beautiful surroundings. The tent exceeded our expectations. On cold nights, we were warmed by an electric blanket in addition to the electric heater. Our own fireplace and jacuzzi are the icing on the cake, plus a private bathroom and a communal kitchen, beautifully furnished and well-equipped. The owner was very kind and showed us all the amenities and recommended places to visit. We can definitely say that this place met our expectations and highly recommend it.

Nice friendly caravan and camping site. Nothing is too much trouble. Site manager/owner Ryan is at hand and always very helpful. Communication is good from time of booking to arrival. Great location for places to go, only little niggle is the lane to the site, single lane with passing points but is a fairly quite road. Right on the boarder of Devon too.
