About Fairwater Head

Step into one of Fairwater Head's 16 rooms and you'll find warm, homely decor with en-suite bathrooms and views over a tree-lined garden, plus drinks provided in the room for settling in after a day out. Family rooms are available, and the overall feel is unassuming rather than grand, fitting the hotel's Edwardian character.

Breakfast is served each morning, and there's a spa and sauna on-site for guests who want to unwind, along with free WiFi, luggage storage and a laundry service to make longer stays easier. The garden itself is a real feature, giving the rooms and grounds a peaceful, leafy outlook. Pets are welcome, and free on-site parking is provided.

The hotel sits within reach of the Jurassic Coast and the Blackdown Hills, making it a useful base for exploring this part of Devon. Golf and fishing can be arranged nearby, and there are pubs and restaurants close at hand for evenings out beyond the hotel's own grounds.

Stunning hotel in side and out as a farmer I have a very bad back and needed a few days off but just wanted to go somewhere peaceful the staff were amazing very kind and helpful I got a bed room with jacuzzi bath it was far better then going to a hotel with over crowded pools or hot tubs that are out side. This was in comfort of your room it really was the best my back feels so much better thank you very much

Currently staying here now and are so happy with this hotel. The hotel itself is grand looking from the outside and has the traditional Manor House look to it upon entering with its lovely oil paintings, grand piano, large fireplace and herringbone flooring which I love. Further into the hotel it has a modern twist which is also lovely and has a lovely view point with tables and chairs outside. We were welcomed very warmly. The hotel always smells fresh and clean and is really quiet. The room we’re staying in is modern but with keeping with the country house theme. The room is clean, staff/owners make your bed daily and replenish hot drink items and any drinking glasses that we may have used which we haven’t experienced anywhere else. The bed is large and super comfy. The bedding is clean and the towels provided are more than enough. They’re a decent size and fluffy. The attention to detail here is brilliant! I almost don’t want to recommend as we will 100% be returning and we don’t want the rooms to be fully booked but I think everyone deserves to experience this place! If you’re looking for a place to stay in the area, this would be your best choice and you won’t be disappointed! Thank you guys!
