Sturminster Newton sits at a crossing of the River Stour in central Dorset, with the market town offering cafés, local shops and a handful of pubs within a couple of miles. Antells Farm Barn is a converted barn on the outskirts, a private whole property with its own enclosed garden and parking for two cars. The layout works as an open-plan ground floor—living and dining areas flow together, with a wood-burner for cooler evenings and a 42-inch TV for quieter nights in. A separate shower room and utility space sit alongside the kitchen, which has what you need to cook proper meals: oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave.
Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king-size bed, the other with zip-and-link beds that split into singles if needed. Both rooms have access to a full bathroom with a bath and heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; heating and electricity are covered too. The garden is fenced, with a lawn, patio, garden furniture and a barbecue. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property does not permit smoking, and is not suitable for children under five, except babies under 18 months.
The area works well for walks—Dorset's countryside surrounds the property—and the villages nearby hold interest for Hardy enthusiasts and anyone drawn to quiet market-town exploring. Check-in is after 15:30; checkout before 10:00.

Fabulous accommodation! A beautiful large and airy barn conversion that is a true home from home. The barn is furnished to a high standard and equipped with everything you could need. The location is delightful! The barn is very private but with beautiful views and plenty of wildlife. There are good shops and pubs a short drive away with lots of amazing local food and drink. A great location for exploring the south/south west coast and countryside. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely holiday rental establishment. Well equipped kitchen and modern bath/shower rooms. Plenty of hot water for all four occupants to shower, plus do laundry and washing up etc. Underfloor heating keeps the building toasty warm during the colder months. Would visit again.
