What visitors say
This is our 4th visit to Caalm Camp. We go back time and time again as the site so family friendly. We have a range of ages in our family and it suits us all and feels safe and secure. Fire pit allows us all to chill together in the evenings, youngsters run free, food is easily prepared in the kitchen and each yurt has its own bathroom. Great site for quality family time spen together...Mark is never far away if you need anything.

I stayed at Caalm Camp this past weekend with some friends. I cannot recommend this place enough. Mark met us when we arrived and was so friendly, he showed us round, explained everything & made us feel instantly welcome. The yurts look smaller than they actually are inside, they’re set up with proper beds, a log fire inside, a log fire & BBQ outside for each yurt. Each yurt has a private bathroom & a good sized shared kitchen. The location is calm & quiet with shops/Shaftsbury only about 10 mins away. They are great for everyone & really family friendly - loads of space, swings, slide, trampoline, Poole table, table tennis & some goats. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay.

We had a great stay at Caalm camp. We were 3 adults and 3 kids in a single yurt. The yurt was perfectly spacious and comfortable with all the bedding we'd need. We visited in October and it was easy to keep the yurt warm. We didn't need to ask for a single thing, Mark and Caryl have been incredibly attentive over what their guests might want/need. The inclusion of barbecues and fire puts was most welcome and there were countless activities on site to keep the kids occupied. Thoroughly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay a calm camp. The guys running was very attentive and friendly. The yurt was clean and very well presented. Kids had a fab time. Definitely would love to go back
