Briar House
Dorset
Blandford Forum's Georgian high street is within easy reach, offering independent shops, antique dealers and local food. The coastline around Lulworth Cove lies about 15 miles south, making it accessible for a day trip. Closer to home, woodland walks start from the doorstep, and a pub sits roughly a mile away. The cottage itself is a traditional thatched building with a solid rural setting in North Dorset.
Inside, Briar House sleeps six across one bedroom and a hayloft room accessed by ladder stairs. There are two bathrooms: one upstairs with a roll-top bath, the other downstairs with a large shower. The main living spaces include a kitchen for proper cooking, a dining room, a lounge with a wood-burning stove, and a book-lined snug. Electricity, bed linen and towels come with your stay. A back garden has seating, a fire pit and space to sit outside.
The property is non-smoking. It works as a self-catering base for a group wanting countryside rather than close neighbours.
