Blackthorn House

Blandford Forum sits on the edge of Dorset's rolling countryside, close enough to the Jurassic Coast for a day trip but far enough to feel properly rural. Blackthorn House is a substantial property arranged across three floors, designed to sleep 12 people comfortably. It works equally well for large family gatherings, multi-generational groups, or friends holidaying together, and one dog can stay free.

The ground floor holds a living room with a 75-inch Smart TV and open fire, a kitchen-diner with electric cooking and all the equipment for proper meals, a games room, and a shower room. Upstairs are four double bedrooms (one with its own bathroom), served by a main family bathroom. The top floor has a self-contained suite: a super kingsize bedroom and a twin room that can link together, both sharing a contemporary ensuite. Two of the bedrooms include playrooms; a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. The back garden has a patio, furniture and a six-person hot tub. There is parking for three cars on site. No smoking throughout the property.
