Buckshaw Gate

Buckshaw Gate is a detached cottage near Sherborne where you step straight into a living room with Freeview Smart TV, a separate dining space, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and washing machine included. Two bedrooms upstairs offer a double bed and two singles; there are two bathrooms, one with a bath and shower, the other with a shower cubicle. Oil heating keeps things warm, and wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided. One well-behaved pet stays free.

Outside, a large lawn with seating area and furniture backs onto countryside that's accessible straight from the gate. The property has private parking for two cars on site. It sits on a quiet lane in genuinely rural surroundings, though Sherborne town—with independent shops, pubs and restaurants—is within reach. The Jurassic Coast and its coves, harbours and villages lie further afield. The cottage does not permit smoking indoors.
