Downwood - Dreamwood is a single-storey lodge set in countryside two miles from Blandford Forum, with direct access from the parking area. The whole building is yours alone: an open-plan living space combining kitchen, dining and sitting areas, a double bedroom, shower room, and a private garden with furniture and barbecue. The hot tub accommodates two and overlooks your own grounds. Everything needed for a self-catering stay is provided, from bed linen and towels to Wi-Fi and heating.
The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, so you can cook as much or as little as you like. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. One dog can stay free. The setting suits couples wanting a quiet base for exploring Dorset, or anyone looking for a straightforward, comfortable retreat. Blandford Forum itself has shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs within a couple of miles, while the Jurassic Coast, New Forest, Kingston Lacy House and Wimborne Model Town are all within driving distance. Muddy Monkies Forest School is nearby for families with young children. The beach is 18 miles away. There are six steps down from the entrance to the garden, and six more in the garden itself.

Downwood is lovely. Me and my bf stayed for 2 nights. He loved the jacuzzi. We both enjoyed the bbq and the space inside was perfect - clean, modern, comfortable. Tv was working great too - Netflix and all the usual good apps like bbc and itv. Gas cooker was great! We went to Bournemouth beach one day, was only 45 mins drive. Beautiful beach. This location is so perfect too, because it’s countryside but there plenty shops and takeaways around. Highly recommend

Wow what can I say apart from exceptional. Me and my partner booked a last minute weekend away. Grace was so welcoming in her communication and it was very apparent how important it was for her to make sure from start to finish we had a lovely time/experience. The apartment was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. The views and grounds are stunning and the hot tub was amazing. We arrived feeling very tense from busy lives and honestly we left feeling like we had been to a retreat. We’ve shown friends our photos and they were also wowed. Thank you and we will Definately be back 💫🙏🏼

Me and my partner had a really lovely time at the Glass house. It was our first anniversary and the Glass house complimented it beautifully. The room is very spacious and the decor/furniture was beautiful. The hot tub was a massive bonus and relaxing. Would definitely recommend and come back. Hosts were responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at the stillness cottage, it was clean, warm and well presented. It felt like a home away from home. We loved an evening dip in the hot tub. The bed was very comfortable, it was hard to get my young daughter out of it! The fact we could take our little dog along with us was the cherry on the top! Thank you and we look forward to returning!
