Downwood - Stargaze is a ground-floor chalet designed for two people seeking privacy and comfort in rural Dorset. The open-plan layout maximizes light through its vaulted ceiling, with a living area, separate dining space and fully fitted kitchen flowing naturally into one another. A double bedroom and ensuite bathroom complete the accommodation, which sits on its own with private parking and a back garden featuring a hot tub for two.
The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wifi are all included. The garden offers enough space to sit outside, with furniture and a gas barbecue available. This is a place to slow down: the countryside around it is genuinely quiet, and walking trails through rolling hills start almost from the door. Blandford Forum, a Georgian market town with pubs and cafés, is nearby for days out. No smoking throughout the property.

Downwood is lovely. Me and my bf stayed for 2 nights. He loved the jacuzzi. We both enjoyed the bbq and the space inside was perfect - clean, modern, comfortable. Tv was working great too - Netflix and all the usual good apps like bbc and itv. Gas cooker was great! We went to Bournemouth beach one day, was only 45 mins drive. Beautiful beach. This location is so perfect too, because it’s countryside but there plenty shops and takeaways around. Highly recommend

Wow what can I say apart from exceptional. Me and my partner booked a last minute weekend away. Grace was so welcoming in her communication and it was very apparent how important it was for her to make sure from start to finish we had a lovely time/experience. The apartment was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. The views and grounds are stunning and the hot tub was amazing. We arrived feeling very tense from busy lives and honestly we left feeling like we had been to a retreat. We’ve shown friends our photos and they were also wowed. Thank you and we will Definately be back 💫🙏🏼

Me and my partner had a really lovely time at the Glass house. It was our first anniversary and the Glass house complimented it beautifully. The room is very spacious and the decor/furniture was beautiful. The hot tub was a massive bonus and relaxing. Would definitely recommend and come back. Hosts were responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at the stillness cottage, it was clean, warm and well presented. It felt like a home away from home. We loved an evening dip in the hot tub. The bed was very comfortable, it was hard to get my young daughter out of it! The fact we could take our little dog along with us was the cherry on the top! Thank you and we look forward to returning!
