Golden Acre - Ammonite 18

Photo: Golden Acre Jurassic Coastal Lodges

Ammonite 18 is a ground-floor bungalow built in a simple, practical style—the kind of low-key seaside property where you can settle in immediately without fuss. Everything sits on one level: a bright, open-plan living space flows from kitchen to dining area to sitting room, all unfussy and straightforward. The bedroom holds a double bed, and there's a walk-in shower nearby. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with private parking for one car.

The garden is enclosed, which suits dog owners; the back is a real space to sit out in, and there's also a front patio for morning coffee. A short walk takes you down to Eype Beach, where the cliffs rise dramatically above the shingle and the South West Coast Path stretches along the shoreline in both directions. Bridport itself is close by, with shops, cafés and pubs. One dog stays free. The property does not permit smoking.

Eype is one of the quieter kittle coves on the coast. Golden Acre is very laid back and relaxing. I really liked it

We had the best stay at GA! The lodge was perfect - clean, quiet, walkable to the beach. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks all. ❤️

Booked this last minute getaway so we only stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could've stayed for longer. Lovely cosy chalet style accommodation. We stayed in a one bedroom and requested a zed bed for our toddler which was perfect. The beds were comfy. Very well equipped and a nice complimentary of tea, coffee and biscuits which was a lovely touch and they even had treats for the dog. The little garden was ideal for the dog and I'm sure would be a nice place to relax in the warmer months. Location beautiful and just a short walk down to Eype beach. Great communication thoughtout with Tom. My partner also left his headphones in the room and didn't realise until we were back home. Tom thankfully found them and sent them back to us. So very honest and genuine, very grateful for that thankyou! Would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time 😃
