Golden Acre - Ammonite 3

Photo: Golden Acre Jurassic Coastal Lodges

Eype Beach is a ten-minute walk away, with the South West Coast Path running practically on the doorstep and Bridport's shops, cafés and pubs within easy reach by car. The Jurassic Coast stretches in both directions—West Bay is nearby for its famous cliffs, and the shoreline itself rewards a slow fossil hunt or a longer ramble when the weather suits.

Golden Acre - Ammonite 3 is a single-storey property that puts everything on one level. You get a double bedroom, a bathroom with walk-in shower, and an open-plan living space that includes kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave and fridge, so you can cook properly or keep things simple. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included; there is parking for one car on site.

The back garden is enclosed, which matters if you are bringing a dog—they stay free. There is also a front patio for morning coffee or an evening drink. The bungalow suits couples, including those travelling with a pet, who want to be close to coastal paths and a quiet base for exploring without fuss.

Eype is one of the quieter kittle coves on the coast. Golden Acre is very laid back and relaxing. I really liked it

We had the best stay at GA! The lodge was perfect - clean, quiet, walkable to the beach. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks all. ❤️

Booked this last minute getaway so we only stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could've stayed for longer. Lovely cosy chalet style accommodation. We stayed in a one bedroom and requested a zed bed for our toddler which was perfect. The beds were comfy. Very well equipped and a nice complimentary of tea, coffee and biscuits which was a lovely touch and they even had treats for the dog. The little garden was ideal for the dog and I'm sure would be a nice place to relax in the warmer months. Location beautiful and just a short walk down to Eype beach. Great communication thoughtout with Tom. My partner also left his headphones in the room and didn't realise until we were back home. Tom thankfully found them and sent them back to us. So very honest and genuine, very grateful for that thankyou! Would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time 😃
