Golden Acre - Summer Lodge 17

Photo: Golden Acre Jurassic Coastal Lodges

Bridport sits at the heart of West Bay's dramatic coastline, with Eype's Mouth and a network of clifftop walks within reach. Summer Lodge 17 is a single-storey property on a quiet park, designed for guests who want to be near the action but not in the thick of it. The town itself has pubs, restaurants and a supermarket within easy distance.

Everything is on one level: two bedrooms (one double, one with twin singles), a shower room, and an open-plan living and dining area with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. You have your own enclosed back garden with a sitting-out space, private parking for one car, and the essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi—are covered. The pebble beach is a short walk away, and the coastal paths that draw walkers and cyclists begin practically from your door.

The property suits families and groups of four, including those travelling with a dog. No smoking indoors. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.

Eype is one of the quieter kittle coves on the coast. Golden Acre is very laid back and relaxing. I really liked it

We had the best stay at GA! The lodge was perfect - clean, quiet, walkable to the beach. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks all. ❤️

Booked this last minute getaway so we only stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could've stayed for longer. Lovely cosy chalet style accommodation. We stayed in a one bedroom and requested a zed bed for our toddler which was perfect. The beds were comfy. Very well equipped and a nice complimentary of tea, coffee and biscuits which was a lovely touch and they even had treats for the dog. The little garden was ideal for the dog and I'm sure would be a nice place to relax in the warmer months. Location beautiful and just a short walk down to Eype beach. Great communication thoughtout with Tom. My partner also left his headphones in the room and didn't realise until we were back home. Tom thankfully found them and sent them back to us. So very honest and genuine, very grateful for that thankyou! Would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time 😃
