Simple, off-grid family camping with flushing loos and hot showers. Situated on a dairy farm in Dorset.
About The Daggles
Tucked away on a working dairy farm near Leigh, The Daggles offers properly off-grid camping with just enough comfort to keep families happy. You'll find flushing loos and hot showers – a welcome combination when you're otherwise unplugged from the modern world – plus permission to light campfires as evening falls. The setting is simple and pastoral, perfect for parents wanting their children to experience proper countryside camping without sacrificing basic facilities.
It's worth noting that dogs aren't permitted, so this one's strictly for non-pet-owning families. But if you're after a straightforward, back-to-basics Dorset base with a genuine farm feel and those reliably hot showers after a day's exploring, The Daggles delivers exactly what it promises.

What visitors say
Had an amazing time at this campsite. We were the only ones there but the site is spacious enough that you would have your own privacy if all the pitches were full. The toilets and showers were incredibly clean and functional (cleaner than some hotels I’ve stayed at). If the campsite is quiet then would recommend pitching near the entrance as the walk to and from the rear of the site can feel a little long while transporting your stuff. They provide wheelbarrows to help transport your gear which was a cute and helpful touch. Fire pits are present which was great. The location is also fab for visiting local landmarks like cern Abbas giant. Would recommend and would love to return!

Rural bliss. We were in two minds as to writing a review since we don't want anyone else to discover it. But the owners are so lovely they deserve the site they have created to be used. Facilities spotless. Very spacious pitches. Beautiful countryside. Just the sounds of tractors and animals to keep you company.

Quite amazing really! It is as good as the pictures, beautiful large field to camp in, quiet, spotless everywhere, the toilets and showers are simply amazing, the owners are lovely too! In all honesty I am completely shocked and simply how good it is and the amazing value. I am actually here on ‘business’ but cannot wait to come back with my children! I would give it ten stars if I could!
