Rolling hills, oak woodland and a working farm full of fallow deer, buzzards and badgers make this corner of Dorset worth slowing down for. Tent 3 Oak Apple Lodge sits on 75 acres where you can walk, watch for wildlife, or simply be still. The nearest landmark is Bower Cottage; the surrounding countryside is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The tent is a single open-plan space on ground level, with a double bed, a kitchenette fitted with an induction hob and wine cooler, a shower cubicle and separate toilet. Bed linen and towels are provided. Outside, a covered veranda has garden furniture and a barbecue—the place to eat, drink or read while looking out over the land. You have private parking for one car and the whole property to yourself. One dog can stay free, though it must be kept on a lead in sheep country.
This suits couples after genuine quiet and privacy. There is no television. Smoking is not permitted. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.
