The Hive

The Hive is a detached wooden cabin on a Park Dean resort in Dorset, set within 40 acres of woodland. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with a 55-inch Smart TV, a kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher, two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), and two bathrooms. A veranda with garden furniture looks onto a lawned front area, and there is parking for two cars.

The property comes with Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating. A shared laundry room with coin-operated machines is available. The resort's heated indoor swimming pool is open April to October and over Christmas and New Year; leisure passes can be bought on site. The grounds also have fishing lakes, a golf course and other sports facilities. A shop, licensed clubhouse and restaurant are on site. One dog is welcome.

Weymouth's seafront and sandy beach are a short drive away, as are the Jurassic Coast, Monkey World, the Tank Museum and Abbotsbury Swannery. The surrounding countryside is Thomas Hardy country. No smoking indoors. Bookings are for families and couples only.
