Upwey Cottages - Carpenters Cottage
Dorset

Weymouth sits on Dorset's Jurassic Coast, with golden sand, a working harbour, and the cliffs of West Bay within reach. Upwey, a village inland from the seafront, is where Carpenters Cottage stands—a timber-framed property built in 2018 on what was once a working craftsman's yard. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms: a double and two singles. There's one bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet, plus a ground-floor living and dining room with a 43-inch Smart TV and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking.
The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the basics needed for self-catering. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included in your stay. One small dog can come free, and there's an outside plug socket if you're charging an electric car. Private parking for one vehicle sits on the property, with additional spaces on the road. The cottage is no-smoking throughout.
From here you're close to National Trust sites, family attractions and some of Dorset's best beaches. The main bus routes run through Upwey, so exploring without the car is straightforward. Local walks lead through countryside views; the coast and its geological heritage are an easy drive away.
