Windjammer Cottage

Swanage is a working seaside town with independent shops lining the high street, pubs and restaurants within arm's reach, and the beach a hundred yards downhill. Windjammer Cottage sits in the middle of it all—no car needed to reach any of that, though parking is available on road or in public car parks. The Jurassic Coast and Durlston Castle are within walking distance; the steam railway that runs to Corfe Castle departs from the town centre.

The cottage has two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed and one with two singles and a pull-out single. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower, and a good-sized ground-floor living space (open plan, with kitchen, dining and sitting areas) where everyone can gather. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included. The kitchen is equipped for cooking; you'll find a fridge, cooker, microwave and washing machine. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. One dog or cat can stay free of charge. No smoking inside.

This suits families or friends wanting a base near the beach without having to drive to activities, meals or supplies. It sleeps up to five people.
