Hawthorn Farm Caravan Park sits in a quiet, well-screened field a few miles north-east of Dover, close to Martin Mill village and within easy reach of the White Cliffs and the wider Kent coast. The park makes a good base for Dover Castle, the White Cliffs and the Roman fort at Richborough, while flat, well-drained pitches and reliable hook-up suit longer stays or single overnight stops for ferry travellers alike.

Excellent campsite. Staff very friendly offering information on local attractions and train times. Shower/toilet facilities spotless, 2 min walk to the train station for a walk along Deal sea front.

May 2025 Really nice campsite with many hedges to duck behind as a shelter from the wind and we were allowed to chose our own spot for our tent. The bathroom was comfortably warm. Price was a bit high though.

Very expensive Easter Sunday, overnighted for ferry on Monday £31 didn't use any of the facilities overpriced but very handy for the port, filling station just down the road, before the ferry to France.
