What visitors say
Touring pitch. Tidy up debris left from old bbq Showers!!!! No one shower as only unit with a lock, shower hose broken. Floor dirty no mop. Toilet tidy no hand towels. Fresh water took a while to find one that you can connect too. Chemical toilet disgusting. Toilet building next to chemical disposal closed so you can’t wash hands. Grey water for motorhome drain needs cleaning as water was spilling over drain. On arrival I was told to look for a pitch where the electric was working ? The site is a working progress. Working progress understated. £35 a night was expecting better. Would not recommend or return till there has been a lot of work carried out.

First Impressions: From the moment you turn off the M74 at Ecclefechan, Cressfield feels like you’ve found one of Scotland’s hidden gems. The new entrance, tarmac roads and Victorian-style lamp posts set the tone immediately – this is a park under new ownership that’s being actively improved, not just maintained. For a touring site, that level of investment shows. Touring Pitches The touring ground is a mix of hardstanding gravel and grass pitches, all generous at 70–90 m² with 16A electric hook-up as standard. We had a large gravel pitch with plenty of room to get the awning out, car alongside, and still space for the dog to mooch. Roads around the site are tarmac or gravel and wide enough for easy maneuvering, even for larger units. What stands out is how quiet it is. Despite having a substantial static and lodge presence, the touring area feels separate and peaceful. You’re tucked in the Mein valley at the foot of Brownmoor Forestry Commission Woods, so the views are pure unspoilt countryside. Facilities The facilities block is spotless – honestly some of the cleanest we’ve used. Showers are hot with good pressure, if you want a proper soak after a day’s walking. It’s a short walk from some touring pitches, but worth it for the standard. Water points and waste disposal are plentiful and well positioned. Staff & Atmosphere The owners and staff are what elevate Cressfield from “good” to “exceptional”. From booking to arrival the communication was warm and helpful.

The touring caravan area is really good Very large pitches . The entrance to the site is wide abd visibility is good for access and exit . Toilets are clean and work there's plenty for the amount of caravans Any that dont are locked atm Showers are clean with a toilet in them also . Power showers in each cubicle. The location of the site is very handy for access to the m74,annan,lockerbie,and further afield . 💯 recommend this site
