A fabulous building. Absolutely non-corporate. Very special & unique. John & Majorie are wonderful hosts. Our room was large & comfortable. Breakfast excellent - Continental with so many choices To cap it all we found a great eatery at Haddon Castle Coach House for our evening meal: we had wood-fired oven pizza with an excellent salad.

Beautiful hotel with lots of history. The owners and their gorgeous dog Tilly was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and plenty of it. We would definitely return when in the area again. Highly recommend 👌

The owners of this hotel really made this stay special, the 2 of them (along with their lovely dog) greet you whenever you come in, and ask about your day. They are such lovely people, and are very attentive. The breakfast was lovely, and the rooms are good too. Some of them are older style rooms, and some are newer (in the extended part of the building). I was in an older room, which is large, comfortable, and warm once the heating comes on. Note the hotel is next to a railway line and a dual carriageway, so if you can't deal with the noise, don't book and then write bad reviews about it! Do some research first.

A very welcome break, 1 night stay after a long journey before continuing on. Lovely bedroom and bathroom.
