Cairncroft Cottage is a recently renovated property set in elevated grounds on the Rhins of Galloway Peninsula, midway between Stranraer and Portpatrick. The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms—one with a king bed and en-suite bathroom, a second with a king bed, and a third with two single beds—plus a shower room on the first floor. On the ground floor, the open-plan kitchen and dining room is fitted for proper cooking, with a spacious living room looking out over the gardens and an adjoining games room with a pool table. A conservatory extends the entertaining space. Oil central heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included.
The grounds amount to three acres of woodland and lawned gardens with a terrace and BBQ area. An enclosed paddock allows dogs to run off-lead; one dog is welcome in the property itself. Parking on site accommodates four cars, and a bike store is available. The elevated position delivers views across Loch Ryan towards Ailsa Craig, the Isle of Arran and the Mull of Kintyre. Both Stranraer and Portpatrick lie about 10 minutes' drive away. No smoking or vaping indoors.
