The Hayloft

The Hayloft comes ready for a self-catering break with essentials covered: bed linen, towels, wi-fi and all heating and electricity included. The kitchen has an electric cooker, hob and microwave, plus a fridge-freezer and washer-dryer, so you can prepare meals or do laundry as needed. Downstairs there is a living room with Freeview TV and DVD player, a separate dining room, and the kitchen. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and a shower room. Outside, decking with seating overlooks the smallholding, and there is parking for two cars on site. One dog stays free.

The setting suits those wanting to walk or cycle: the Southern Upland Way starts close by, and open countryside surrounds the property. The coast is within reach—Port Patrick fishing village is 6 miles away, and Stranraer (with shops and restaurants) offers access to day trips across the water to Ireland. Locally there are golf courses, a leisure centre and swimming pool. A shop, pub and restaurant are about a mile away. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request. The property does not permit smoking. Note that there are open, steep, spiral or narrow stairs inside.
