🏡 Self-Catering Cottage

Craignair

Dumfries and Galloway

Port William sits on the Solway coast in southern Galloway, surrounded by countryside that ranges from hidden hill lochs to sandy beaches and rocky coves. Craignair is a single-storey bungalow positioned to look out over Luce Bay, with the fishing village spreading around it. The setting puts you within reach of the Galloway Hills, cycle trails, coastal walks, and a string of small harbours and villages along the shore.

Everything is on ground level. The living and dining room has a woodburner and opens into a conservatory where you can watch the sea from your seat. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and all the essentials. One bedroom has a double bed with an ensuite shower; the other has two single beds and shares a family bathroom with a bath and shower. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included, along with initial fuel for the stove. There is parking for three cars and an enclosed garden with furniture at the back.

This is a no-smoking property. It suits couples or families wanting a straightforward coastal base, with enough space to spread out and the kind of kitchen setup that makes self-catering feel manageable rather than a chore.
