Winloma

Three steps lead into Winloma's ground floor, where the living room opens with views across the water. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine; the bathroom holds a bath with shower over. Two bedrooms sleep four: one double bed and two singles. Bed linen and towels come as standard, along with heating and electricity. Wifi is available throughout.

The cottage sits yards from the shore in Dumfries and Galloway, looking out to Luce Bay, the Mull of Galloway and the Isle of Man on clear days. An enclosed garden with seating area faces the water. A pub and restaurant are 800 yards away; a coffee shop and bar operate nearby with reduced hours in autumn and winter. The Machars coastline has sandy beaches at Monreith and Craignarget, plus rocky coves. Walking, cycling, fishing and golf are all within reach. Wigtown—Scotland's Book Town—Whithorn and the Isle of Whithorn are easily accessible. No smoking inside.
