This single-storey lodge was designed to capture light and views through expansive glazing and a covered veranda where the sunsets over the bay become part of your day. Everything unfolds on one level, from the open-plan living space to two bedrooms—one with a king bed, the other with zip-and-link singles—and two bathrooms with heated towel rails. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. A front garden with seating and space for two cars completes the practical setup.
Drumwall - Sea Glass sits in countryside roughly a mile from Gatehouse of Fleet, a small town with restaurants and shops. The immediate area draws walkers and cyclists: coastal paths, forest trails through Town Woods, Galloway Forest Park and several of the 7 Stanes mountain bike routes are all within reach. Cardoness Castle and the Mill on the Fleet are nearby, and Kirkcudbright—known for its harbour, galleries and annual events including a summer tattoo—is a short drive further. The lodge sleeps four and does not permit smoking.
