Beth’s Bothy

Beth's Bothy comes ready for a break away from it all. Everything you need is here: electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, fresh bed linen and towels. The single-storey layout keeps things straightforward—an open-plan living space with a kitchen that has electric cooking, fridge and freezer, a kingsize bedroom, and a shower room. Outside, a decking area with garden furniture overlooks the grounds, and there's a private hot tub for two.

The bothy sits on a working farm in rural Dumfries and Galloway, a mile from Gatehouse of Fleet, where you'll find pubs, restaurants and shops. The coast is three miles away, and the area pulls walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers—Galloway Forest Park and five of the 7Stanes trails are close by, while Kirkcudbright, known for its harbour and galleries, is a short drive. Threave Gardens and Cardoness Castle are among the local attractions; in summer there are beaches to reach and a range of outdoor pursuits from fishing to sailing. No smoking in the property. Private parking for one car and a bike store are provided.
