The Dumfries and Galloway coastline draws visitors for its quieter appeal and access to walking country. Grey Rocks House sits above Kippford, a small village looking out across the water, positioned to catch south-facing light through the day. Four of the five bedrooms have sea views, as does the open-plan first-floor living space where the kitchen, dining area and sitting room are arranged to make the most of the outlook. A wood-burning stove provides a focal point for cooler evenings.
The layout works well for two families or a group of friends sharing. The ground floor holds two further bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate toilet and a utility room. Upstairs, the master bedroom comes with its own ensuite, leaving the main bathroom to serve the rest of the house. The kitchen is equipped for cooking from scratch—double ovens, induction hob, dishwasher and air fryer are all there. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; the wood-burner comes with an initial fuel supply. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Outside, there is parking for three cars, an electric charging point, and a front garden with seating.
The Solway Yacht Club is nearby, and coastal paths lead out from the village for exploration on foot. No smoking is permitted inside the property. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
