This semi-detached cottage was fully renovated in 2023 and is now modern throughout, sleeping four across a king bedroom, a twin room, and two bathrooms. Ground floor living spills onto a private enclosed garden through patio doors; the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, and parking for two cars is on site.

The location appeals strongly to walkers and cyclists—Glentrool, Kirroughtree Forest and the 7Stanes trails are nearby, as is Newton Stewart, a market town with cafés and shops. Golf courses dot the area, and the Machars Peninsula offers beaches, coves and villages worth exploring. Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright, each with galleries and food-focused amenities, are within reach. One dog is welcome.
