Moffat is a Victorian spa town in Dumfries and Galloway with shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Kirsty Cottage, a 250-year-old stone cottage, puts you in the middle of it all. The town itself has horse riding, quad biking and golf available locally, and the 7stanes mountain biking network spreads across Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders. The Green Frog Centre on the edge of town offers rod hire for three fishing lochs plus an adventure play park.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms—a double and two singles—sharing 1 bathroom with a bath and shower. Downstairs, the living room has a woodburning stove, Freeview TV, DVD and CD player. The kitchen/dining room is equipped for cooking, with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are covered, and there is Wi-Fi throughout. Your own one dog can stay free. The cottage is non-smoking.
Edinburgh, Carlisle, Glasgow and the historic castles and abbeys of the Scottish Borders are all within an hour. A pub is within a mile of the cottage.

Our 5th visit lovely cottage just 2 dissapointments.only 4 logs paper and matches left no kinlin or firelighters.and the loo brush pot was very dirty.but everywhere else spotless.vacuum didn't work so could not use it..

Love this cottage. Minute walk and your in the centre. Very quiet, warm and peaceful. Well equipped, highly recommended.
