From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The greeting on arrival was warm and friendly, setting the tone for a fantastic stay. The facilities for bikers are second to none—I've honestly never seen anything like them. It's clear the hotel understands exactly what motorcyclists need and has gone above and beyond to cater for them. The food was outstanding, with every meal cooked to a very high standard, and all of the staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and couldn't do enough for us throughout our stay. A fantastic experience from start to finish. I would definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone, especially fellow bikers. A well-deserved

A one night visit on our way further north into Scotland. What a find. Very friendly, knowledgeable team. Secure motorcycle parking, the likes of I have never seen before. Storage, cleaning facilities and a number of secure garages for a nightly fee. Rooms clean and comfortable. Food both evening meal and breakfast excellent. A very friendly service provided. I would highly recommend the Buccleuch Arms to anyone looking for a stay in Moffat. The motorcyclists are well looked after.

This place is great for motorcyclists, although I think they’d welcome everyone equally. Family owned, they make you feel like they really want you there, always able to accommodate your requirement. Great restaurant with a mix of some traditional South African food and some traditional British menu foods, all really well made. Ideally located for either breaking up the journey heading north or south, or for exploring the border areas. Secure bike sheds available, small beer garden out the back, nice bar downstairs and tastefully decorated in the seating areas. Drying rooms and maintenance kit for motorcycles available for everyone. Recommended.

If it was possible to leave more stars, I Would. What an incredibly well run Hotel. The family headed by Dave are kind, hard working knowledgeable & go above & beyond to make your stay the best. The food is great, all freshly prepared. The rooms are a perfect size great bathrooms & clean. The trips that we had suggested by Dave & uploaded onto our sat nav devices worked a treat to see the very best of the area including coastal, passes long faster roads all in the mix all with great stops for refreshments. Bike cleaning facilities, pumps & if needed local mechanic & Tyre suppliers. If you haven't stayed here as a biker you need to try it. There's a reason that you will be lucky to get a booking in the following year.
