Lime tree Cottage is a single-storey property in rural Dumfries and Galloway, surrounded by quiet lanes and countryside. You arrive at ground level into an open-plan living space with a woodburner, dining area and kitchen equipped for cooking; patio doors lead directly onto an enclosed garden with seating. A second living room (with Freeview TV) offers a separate retreat, while a utility room contains a washing machine and tumble dryer.

There are two bedrooms—one double and one with two single beds—and a shower room with walk-in shower. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included; the initial load for the woodburner is provided. One dog is welcome. Two cars can park on site. The property suits families or groups of four, and is close enough to Dumfries for town visits yet embedded in countryside good for walking, with access to forest trails, beaches and cliff-top routes across the region. No smoking inside.
