Park Crescent is a renovated end-terrace cottage in Creetown, a village on the River Cree estuary in Dumfries and Galloway. The whole property is yours alone, arranged on one floor with a living room, kitchen/dining space, bedroom and shower room. A king-size bed sleeps two, and the essentials—heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels—are included, along with a welcome pack of tea, coffee and basic provisions.
The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with an oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Out the back is an enclosed garden with seating and furniture. Parking is unrestricted on the street outside. Creetown itself is a former fishing village; the village store is a short walk away and the Lairds Inn pub about a mile distant. Newton Stewart, gateway to the Galloway Hills, lies 7 miles to the west.
The real draw is location at the edge of Galloway Forest Park—Britain's largest at three hundred square miles—which sits within a designated Dark Sky Park. The entire region is accessible from here, whether you're interested in walking, stargazing or simply being in remote countryside. No smoking inside the property.
