Prior Bank is a detached cottage in Canonbie, near Dumfries and Galloway, built for accessibility with everything on the ground floor. The River Esk runs past the property, visible from the dining conservatory and the enclosed garden beyond. Two bedrooms accommodate four people—a kingsize and two singles—served by a bathroom with both jacuzzi bath and shower cubicle, plus a separate toilet.

The layout spreads across a living room with wood burner, a separate dining conservatory with patio doors onto the garden, and a kitchen fitted with electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, air fryer and other essentials for self-catering. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial logs for the fire. The enclosed garden has sitting areas and a barbecue. Private parking accommodates two or more cars, and a locked garage nearby offers bike storage on request.

Canonbie is a quiet village with riverside walks and a public play park. Galloway Forest Park, designated a Dark Sky Park, lies within reach for stargazing. The cottage accepts one well-behaved pet at no extra charge and does not permit smoking inside.
