Rose Cottage is a one-bedroom property in Port Logan where everything sits at ground level. You enter directly into a combined living and dining room with a television and electric fire, leading through to a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals, then on to a bedroom with a king-size bed and a bathroom with shower over the bath. It is the kind of layout that works well for anyone who prefers not to manage stairs.
The cottage comes with wi-fi, heating, bed linen and towels already sorted. There is a back garden with furniture for sitting outside, and parking for two cars on the property. One pet can stay free of charge. The coast is within walking distance; the beach at Port Logan itself is nearby for swimming or a walk along the sand. No smoking inside the property.

A lovely cottage. Clean, tidy and comfortable. The fresh flowers were a beautiful touch, enjoyed them all week. The birds in the garden have been a delight to watch. A very relaxing week

We have just come back from staying at this beautiful cottage .We enjoyed a wonderful week in port Logan .. The cottage is so cozy ,it had everything we needed and made extra special that there is a beautiful sandy beach 5 mins down the road .the garden is beautiful,well maintained and we had lots of birds visiting and rabbits and even a frog ,our dog Molly loved it here the owners live next door , they do keep out of the way but are on hand if you need them and they lovely and friendly, we loved our stay so much we have booked to come back for next year .😀

We go home Saturday, well it's been wonderful with our two cats here. The caravan is cosy, gas and electric included so the living room gets lovely and warm. Its perfect as you can sit outside even in September with a glass of wine. Stephen and marie are lovely people and helpful. You will see buzzards in the afternoon floating above the trees. Large hares in the field behind and the beef cattle mooing in the distance. Also the sound of grouse in the mornings. Our 14 year old cat we could let on the grass and our ginger 6 month old kitten on a leash loved the grass and the visible birdlife. Easy access by bus or car to the south Rhins. If you want a peaceful holiday it's perfect. Unfortunately the pub in port logan is up for auction. Let's hope someone can take it on and help the tourism during covid 19. We have got some lovely photos of sunsets here and I hope to do a painting in oils of the sunset as it is my hobby. If it's good enough I may donate it to the owners. Thankyou stephen and marie xx

We've been coming up to Rose Cottage for over 10 years now , wouldn't go anywhere else. Steven and Marie are the most wonderful, friendly n caring people I've ever known , cant do enough for you nothing's never any trouble.... cant wait to go up next year ... already booked!!!!!!!
