The Haven is a two-bedroom cottage sleeping four near Newton Stewart, with one bathroom and a hot tub overlooking the garden. The ground floor holds a living room with woodburner and TV, plus a kitchen/dining space fitted with electric cooking, dishwasher and coffee machine. Upstairs are a double bedroom and a twin, served by the single bathroom below. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included; initial logs for the woodburner are provided.
A patio and enclosed lawn occupy the rear garden, which slopes down from a balcony at the kitchen door. The hot tub seats four and is yours alone to use. Two cars can park on site. One dog is welcome. The property does not permit smoking.
Bladnoch Distillery stands just 200 yards away and offers visitor tours and a shop; a country pub and restaurant are across the road. Wigtown, known for its bookshops and galleries, lies a mile off. The cottage sits within reach of the Galloway Forest and the region's Dark Skies Park, making it a natural base for exploring the landscape of south-west Scotland.
