Couples and small groups will find Upper Double Lodge a self-contained retreat at the edge of Cally Woods and Gardens. The property is a converted gatehouse with a single king-size bedroom and en-suite bathroom upstairs, while downstairs holds an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area, and two separate sitting rooms—one with an open fire. A private garden with seating faces onto the grounds, and there is parking for two cars on site.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Essentials including electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are covered; fuel for the open fire is provided on arrival. The location puts you within walking distance of woodland trails and close to Gatehouse of Fleet, a small town with cafés, pubs and shops. The Solway Firth coastline and local golf courses are also nearby. Smoking is not permitted inside.
