Willow Pod

Willow Pod is a single-bedroom glamping pod sleeping two, set on a 100-acre farm near Newton Stewart in Dumfries and Galloway. The pod comes fully equipped: electricity, bed linen and towels are included, and the kitchenette has a two-ring hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, with crockery and utensils provided so you can prepare meals without fuss. The bedroom contains a double bed, and there are two bathrooms—a shower room with cubicle and an en-suite.

Inside, the space is insulated and double-glazed, with a woodburner for warmth (you supply fuel), Freesat television and a comfortable seating area. The real draw is outside: a private hot tub for two overlooks the Galloway landscape, and the front garden includes a fire pit, barbecue and sitting-out area. There is parking for one car on site. The pod suits couples looking for a quiet countryside base, with forests, hills, lochs and coastal scenery nearby to explore. Note that the water supply comes from a borehole. Smoking is not permitted.
