Galloway Forest Park, coastal walks and the Machars Peninsula are all within driving distance of Daisy Pod, a single-bedroom glamping space on a working farm near Newton Stewart. The pod itself is a self-contained retreat for two, with everything needed for a short break away from home: a double bed, shower room, open-plan living and kitchen area in one compact ground-floor layout. The essentials are provided – electricity, bed linen, towels – and you can cook simple meals on the two-ring hob or use the microwave and air fryer.
What sets this pod apart is the private hot tub on your garden patio, where you can soak while watching the landscape around you. A woodburner keeps the space warm in cooler months, and there's a barbecue and firepit outside if you want to cook or sit out. The setting is genuinely quiet – the kind of place where you notice the wildlife and the dark sky at night rather than traffic noise. On-site parking means you can leave the car and settle in. No smoking is permitted inside.

Had a wonderful 3 nights in Chestnut pod in mid-June. There's everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. I have mobility difficulties and the parking was right at the back of each pod with a paved path down the side of the pod to get to the door (which has a step up). It really is in the middle of nowhere with a 15 minute drive to Newton Stewart for the nearest restaurants and shops etc but that also means it is wonderful for peace and quiet and wildlife watching!

Lovely relaxing spot for a breakaway Very comfortable and clean with everything you need in the cute little pod. Hot tub and patio out front with a barbecue for just hanging around during the day, or nearby forest walk to take your dog. Lovely to sit and watch the sheep and lambs in the field as well

We had a fantastic stay at Barnharrow holiday pods! The pods themselves were clean and well presented, with everything you could possibly need! The hot tub was lovely and warm and easy to use! A gorgeous setting with great views ⭐️
