About Holiday Inn Express Dundee

Breakfast is one of the strong points at Holiday Inn Express Dundee, with a good range of options to set guests up for the day, and there's a bar on site for an evening drink along with a restaurant serving food. Family visitors are catered for too, with kids' meals available and family rooms among the 95 in the hotel.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and practical extras such as irons and hairdryers, and they're kept clean and comfortable throughout. Some guests have noted that rooms can pick up noise, worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper. The hotel spans four floors and has a lift, along with accessible rooms, laundry service and luggage storage for those passing through. An electric vehicle charge point is on site, though parking itself is via chargeable spaces nearby.

Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and the Dock Street address puts guests within easy reach of Dundee's waterfront, shops and public transport links. Golf and fishing are available nearby for those who want to get out and about, and there's no shortage of pubs and restaurants close by for evenings out.

Great, central location in Dundee and near bus and train stations for visiting other areas nearby. Our room had a great view looking out on to the River Tay. Room was cleans and modern, with comfortable beds. Breakfast had a reasonably good selection and was pretty tasty. But a special mention to the staff - every single person we interacted with was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Would be very happy to stay here again.

We had one night stay. The welcome and service from all the staff was excellent. This continued through our stay. What a great team of staff. They helped with advice on local taxi, restaurant etc the room was again excellent and clean with good facilities. Breakfast was good but busy as you might expect. We had a cruise the following day and staff offered to store our cases for a few hours after check out. This was very helpful. Will definitely book again. Thank you

Great centrally located hotel, only a 5 minute walk from the train station. We had a lovely spacious room with a nice view towards the river Tay and Slessor gardens. The window opens slightly to give some fresh air, always nice if the room is a bit stuffy. Dove toiletries provided which was a nice touch. Only complaint is that the bed could have been slightly bigger. Very friendly staff and a good selection of food and drink at the buffet. There’s even a pot of porridge which is a rare find in hotel restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed while sitting by the window enjoying the views.

Ten out of 10. My wife and I booked Holiday Inn Express Dundee for our 52 Marriage anniversary. The manager Bill made a great effort to add beauty and glory to make the celebration memorable for ever. He gave us a lovely card of warmest congratulations. It is like an ode - full of emotional wording, on behalf of their "TEAM" not forgetting the chocolates. Another member of staff Volga, made us feel special with her evergreen smile. The hotel is bright, modern and full of amenities - offering necessary toiletries if you had forgotten to pack. Booked a taxi on departure. For the entire stay, it was a wonderful experience. The staff is welcoming, cheerful and helpful to ensure our comfort and convenience - offered us "Easy access room." for my disabled wife. I shall recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
